Matching Gifts

Funding Goals for this year

Our funding goals for the 2011 – 2012 school year are: (1) Purchase Compass Learning, Reading Edition, (2) Fund an Impact Teacher, (3) Provide a Fund-A-Need Program, and (4) Purchase Promethean Boards for our classrooms.

Our 2011-2012 Capital Campaign

Our official 2011-2012 Capital Campaign has concluded, but contributions are still being accepted. As you all know, this year we are facing the most severe budget cuts to education that we have seen in many years. We also realize that many families have limited financial resources. We are requesting that each family contribute a range between $50 to $100 per child to help support your children, the students at Sundance Elementary. We do understand that some families can contribute more money and other families will be contributing less, the bottom line is we appreciate any amount that you can contribute towards the success of your children’s education at Sundance. About the Foundation

The Twin Trails Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating with the sole purpose of providing supplemental financial support to Sundance Elementary School in Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, California.

The Foundation was established in May 2004 by a group of Sundance parents and staff committed to enhancing the education and development of students at the school in a variety of ways.  These include introducing and upgrading computer systems on the school campus and supporting supplemental programs in the fine arts, performing arts, music, foreign languages, health and physical education, and providing additional supplies and materials for classroom instruction.
